Happy New Year everyone! I definitely had a great time off doing absolutely nothing. Well except for wedding planning which is coming along slowly but surely. We got our monogram stamps for our invitations which I'm very excited in designing with my fiancee. All to say, we're going to be extremely busy for the next 8 months.

 

My sad news would be that I no longer have my apartment space to design my jewelry starting February 1, 2013. Until I have a bigger space (hopefully in our new house that we still haven't found), I will only be selling a limited number of pieces of jewelry that are currently available in my Etsy shop.

 

For those of you living in Ottawa, Ontario, you can still find a variety of CSF at Victoire. The Victoire girls always know how to display jewelry so beautifully in the store. I love how they embellished a structured black dress with my Roma necklace

CSFootprints going on vacation!

CSFootprints is going on a mini break! My Etsy shop will close at the end of the day on December 14th. If you've got orders to make, now is the time!

I plan to reopen the shop for a few weeks in January, however, I will no longer have a space to make my jewelry starting February 1st. My fiancee and I are currently looking for a bigger home, so until then, CSFootprints will be on a temporary hiatus.

Featured in Flare Magazine!

 I wanted to share the best news of my life: being featured in FLARE magazine, my ultimate favorite Canadian fashion magazine!

My favorite X Cross Brass ring (seen in my picture below) has been featured on one of the models! Even being mentioned in this magazine is an honor and I have my good old friend Cory to thank for wanting to use my ring for his shoot. I had to hold this news to myself for over two months and could only believe it with my very own eyes when I saw the December 2012 issue of Flare on store stands.

 Sigh.

 

I feel weird being mentioned a few words away from Dior, Lanvin, Marni, etc considering I'm just an engineer who makes jewelry in her apartment studio :S

Oh well.
